- Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness:
A powerful witch who masqueraded as the nosy neighbor "Agnes" within the fictional WandaVision sitcom.[2][3] Agatha forms a new coven of witches in the series after escaping from that reality and finding herself powerless.[1] Executive producer Mary Livanos described Agatha as both heartfelt and dangerous,[4] and a survivor who needs to learn to work within a coven to regain her power.[5]: 4:57–6:02 Hahn enjoyed getting to the root of what is broken in Agatha underneath her sass and sarcasm.[6] - Joe Locke as Teen:
A gay familiar with a dark sense of humor who acts as the assistant to Agatha's coven.[7][6] Within the script, Locke's character was only referred to as "Teen",[6] which becomes a joke within the series, as that is what the other characters call him and he responds to;[8] Locke has been reported and speculated to be portraying Billy Kaplan.[8][9] The character is unable to speak his name or give any identifying information because of a sigil hex placed upon him.[10][9] Locke describe the character as "very thoughtful and kind" as well as impulsive,[8] explaining that it is his character's "dream" to join a coven with Agatha and travel the Witches' Road, calling him "fanboy-esque" in regards to witchcraft and witches and being "in his element".[6] - Sasheer Zamata as Jennifer Kale:
A sorceress and member of Agatha's coven who is a potions expert.[11][12] Zamata already had a fascination with witches and witchcraft before auditioning for the series, writing material about the subject for her stand-up special The First Woman. She was influenced by Kristen J. Sollee's book Witches, Sluts and Feminists: Conjuring the Sex Positive.[11] - Ali Ahn as Alice Wu-Gulliver: A member of Agatha's coven who is a protector witch[12]
